How to set up your Modo site & use your own (external) e-Mail

Modo users do not have email setup by default.
If you have your own domain and use email for that domain,you are required to use their own DNS server.
Login to your Domain Name registrar and setup 2 records that point to Modo IP to handle mail (MX).
You can use your own ISP, GMail or any other e-Mail provider.

Required Records
Go to Manage DNS and create:
A record for domain.com => 66.33.30.82

CNAME record for www.domain.com => domain.com

*PLEASE NOTE: A request must be sent via: http://modocms.com/page/contact
to allow for these changes to made by our Modo Support team.

Please note respective domain in request.

Client Spam Filter Disabling
Please note that some providers may have spam filters enabled. Please make sure web.2eleven.ca is whitelisted.
It is recommended that web.2eleven.ca is whitelisted globally so the white-listing procedure doesn't need to be applied if you manage multiple Modo Sites.

Modo Team will send a test email asking for reply to confirm successful mail setup.
