Any content that you add to your MODOcms website needs to be published in order for it to be visible to all your website visitors.

When you create a new content box, it will default to the unpublished status. This means you can add you text, images and other media, and keep the content in “draft” form until you’re ready to make it visible to everyone. All unpublished content is still visible to you when you’re logged into your site and viewing it in Content mode.

Unpublished content is indicated by an orange Publish icon ().

Clicking the Publish icon will make the content visible to all visitors to your website.

Published content is indicated by a green Publish icon ().
